Contract For Tiffany A. Brunetti
Visualization Group

As my contribution to the class project, I will focus on the following:
Visualization:

• I will complete one clickable map for the class project.
• I will expect to be able to retrieve all ideas for the clickable maps from the contracts or via e-mail by March 21.
• If I do not get ideas from other groups for a map, I will do one of the following: 1) a map showing the fracture surface of a rotating steel shaft that experienced fatigue failure; the mapping would show beachmarks and striations or 2) a map showing distinctions between each of the groups and ultimately leading to each of the groups.
• I will need to get the scanned images from the scanners also in a timely manner, to be discussed with them, so that I will not be forced to finish this task at the last minute.
• I will include a description of how to make clickable maps by working with Keith Lyon.

• Analytical Methods:
  • I will become knowledgeable in this field of the project.
  • I will work with members of this group in order to act as liason to the visualization group.

HTML:

• All write-ups for my contribution will be delivered to the HTML group as they are to be seen in a Word document by FTP.
• The clickable map will be found in the visualization library.
• All desired links will be delivered in a separate document.

Deliverables:

• One clickable map.
• No more that 3 written pages, including instructions on how to make clickable maps (time-permitting).
• Knowlede of fatigue, especially through analytical methods and background.

Miscellaneous:

• This contract may change at any time with an update showing at the bottom.
• I will gladly take any suggestions for an opening or another type of clickable map.
